Founder

CMS-NJ is a brand new organization founded by multiple woodwind artist Giuseppe Fusco.  Having completed an education certificate program, teaching has always been an important facet of Giuseppe's life.

Mission Statement

The mission of CMS-NJ is twofold.  The first aspect is simply to provide northern New Jersey with chamber music concerts of a high quality.  Second, to expose public school children to the educational value of chamber music.

Concert Series

CMS-NJ concerts will feature music by great composers in traditional yet exciting programs.

We will always honor the composer's original instrumentation, only using arrangements that have been accepted by the musical community over time.

CMS-NJ will always hire professional musicians.  This accomplishes two important goals:  maximizing the quality of every performance as well as contributing to the livelihood of young musicians by paying them fair wages.

Educational Outreach

Since the early planning stages of CMS-NJ, Giuseppe wanted to incorporate an educational component.  CMS-NJ plans on hosting several events throughout the academic year that will focus on teaching chamber music through interactive performances, lectures, and masterclasses.
